At Highway 69 Hivery, every jar of honey tells a story. This season, we are excited to introduce something new: the Texas Heritage Collection, a special series of local raw honey blends inspired by the history, landscapes, and communities surrounding our hives.
This collection was created from a simple idea: honey is deeply connected to the land. The blooms our bees visit, the rural roads they fly over, and the communities surrounding each apiary all shape the character of the harvest. With the Texas Heritage Collection, we are pairing that natural connection with the stories preserved through Texas Historical Markers near the places our honey comes from.
Each jar in the collection includes a free collectable removable vinyl sticker illustrating, in iconic national park poster style, the name drawn from the specific location or historical story tied to one of our apiaries. You will also receive a QR code that links to a description of the history tied to the region the honey was harvested from.
From the rural roots of Hunt County to the early settlements of Prosper, these limited seasonal honeys will highlight the people, places, and events that helped shape North Texas.
